Grievance Officer
EFFECTIVE MAY 27, 2026
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, every platform that processes personal data must designate a grievance officer and publish how to reach them. This page is that.
Who to contact
Grievance Officer: Prakhar Bhandari (Founder)
Email: founder@gradis.ai
Phone / WhatsApp: +91 70196 96607
Postal address: Gradis Private Limited, Tower 5, 2301, Lodha Woods, Kandivali East, Mumbai 400101, Maharashtra, India.
What you can raise
- Concerns about how Gradis is handling your personal data or your child's personal data.
- Requests under the DPDP Act: access, correction, completion, updating, erasure of your data.
- Withdrawal of consent for processing your child's data.
- Complaints about content moderation decisions, account suspensions, or anything that feels unfair.
- Allegations of unlawful content, harassment, or impersonation on the platform.
How to lodge a grievance
Email founder@gradis.ai with the subject line beginning [Grievance]. Include:
- Your full name and the email address on your Gradis account.
- Your child's first name (if the grievance is about a child's account).
- A clear description of the issue, including the date and what you would like resolved.
- Any screenshots or supporting context.
If you prefer to write to the postal address above, you can. Either channel works equally; email is faster.
Our response timeline
- Within 7 working days we will acknowledge your grievance and tell you who is handling it.
- Within 30 days we will respond with a resolution or, where the issue is genuinely complex, an estimated timeline for resolution and the steps we are taking.
If you are not satisfied with our response
If we cannot resolve your grievance, or if you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to:
- The Data Protection Board of India, set up under Section 18 of the DPDP Act. The Board accepts complaints from individuals (Data Principals) about data fiduciaries like us. As the Board is recently constituted, the official complaint channel may evolve. The current channel will be published on the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) website at meity.gov.in.
- The Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at the District, State or National level, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for service-related disputes.
- For content-related complaints, the appellate mechanism under the IT Rules, 2021, via the Grievance Appellate Committees notified by MeitY.
A note on tone
We are a small team. Founder@gradis.ai goes to a real person, not a queue. If something is wrong on Gradis, we want to know first, fix it, and learn from it. Please reach out before you escalate. We will not penalise anyone for raising concerns, and we will not retaliate against accounts that complain.
